BaseContentPrivacy policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
BaseContent publishes short videos on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. This policy explains what information BaseContent and its publishing tool, BaseContent Uploader, handle.
Who uses BaseContent Uploader
BaseContent Uploader is an internal tool. Only the BaseContent team uses it, to upload BaseContent's own videos to BaseContent's own accounts. It is not offered to the public.
What we access
When we connect a BaseContent account to YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok, the platform gives the tool permission to upload videos and read basic account details, such as the channel name. We use this only to publish our videos and confirm we're posting to the right account.
What we store
Access tokens are stored privately on our own computer and are never shared or sold. We don't collect personal information from people who watch our videos, and this website doesn't use tracking cookies.
Google API services
BaseContent Uploader's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It also follows the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's Privacy Policy applies to data handled by Google.
Removing access
Access can be revoked at any time from the connected platform's security settings, for example Google's third-party access page. When access is revoked, we delete the stored tokens.
